No Refund Policy: All payments are final and non-refundable. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time and continue to enjoy Premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time through:

  1. Logo into your Extension
  2. Go to Settings → Subscription
  3. Click "Cancel"
  4. Confirm cancellation
  5. You'll receive a confirmation email

1.2 When Does Cancellation Take Effect?

Important: When you cancel, you retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for unused days.

1.3 What Happens After Cancellation?

  • Your subscription will not renew
  • You keep Premium access until the period ends
  • After expiry, you'll be moved to the Free tier
  • Your data and settings are preserved
  • You can resubscribe anytime

2. Refund Policy

2.1 No Refunds

All Sales Are Final: Smart CSS XPath does not offer refunds for any subscription payments. All charges are final and non-refundable.

2.2 Why No Refunds?

We maintain a no-refund policy because:

  • You can try the Free tier before upgrading to Premium
  • All Premium features are clearly listed on our website
  • You can cancel anytime and keep access until period ends
  • No long-term commitment required (monthly billing)

2.3 Exceptions

The only exceptions to our no-refund policy are:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were accidentally charged twice, we'll refund the duplicate
  • Unauthorized charges: If your account was compromised and charges were made without your authorization
  • Billing errors: If there was a clear error in the amount charged

3. Billing Issues

5. Auto-Renewal and Billing

5.1 How Auto-Renewal Works

Your Premium subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel:

  • Renewal happens on the same date each month
  • You'll receive a reminder email 3 days before renewal
  • Cancel anytime before renewal to avoid charges

5.2 Preventing Unwanted Renewals

Important: To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

5.3 Failed Payment

If your payment fails during renewal:

  • We'll retry 3 times over 7 days
  • You'll receive email notifications
  • Update your payment method to avoid service interruption
  • After 7 days, subscription will be cancelled

6. Downgrades and Upgrades

6.1 Downgrading to Free

When you cancel Premium and downgrade to Free:

  • No refund for remaining days in current period
  • Premium features available until period ends
  • Data preserved but with Free tier limits

6.2 Re-Subscribing

If you re-subscribe after cancelling:

  • You'll be charged immediately
  • All your previous data is restored
  • Same no-refund policy applies
